Coke Formation in Copyrolysis of Oils or Waxes of Individual and Mixed Polymers in Naphtha
Abstrakt
Individual polymers (HDPE, LLDPE) as well as mixed polymers (HDPE/LDPE/PP, HDPE/LDPE/LLDPE/PP, LLDPE/LDPE/PP/HDPE/PVC/PET/PS) were thermally degraded under nitrogen in a batch reactor at 450 °C to produce oils/waxes. The obtained materials were dissolved in heavy naphtha to 10 and 15 wt.% solutions. The solutions were copyrolysed in a U-shaped stainless-steel flow reactor at 820 °C, in the absence of steam. The heavy naphtha was pyrolysed under the same reaction conditions. The influence of the reaction time on coke formation was investigated. The amount of coke obtained from copyrolysis of the solutions was compared with that from pyrolysis of heavy naphtha. A 10 % addition of the oils/waxes to heavy naphtha causes a decrease in coke formation whereas a 15 % addition leads to a slight increase in coke formation.Stahování
