Abstrakt

Pressure fluctuation signals were measured in a transparent fluidized-bed column 8 x 600 cm. A novel treatment procedure using the fast Fourier transform of the measured pressure fluctuations was elaborated, which makes it possible to construct plots describing the evolution of hydrodynamic behaviour of suspension from static bed to vertical pneumatic transport of particulate materials.
