Abstract

Providing and utilization of web information on thermochemical data is described. Currently available thermochemical data such as heat of formation and coefficients for molar heat capacity, enthalpy and entropy calculation are analyzed. Their sources are NASA polynomials, Chemical Abstracts and literature data. The web service has a number of particular functions, which can be used in various client environments. It is available at http://omega.tuke.sk/wsdl/TermPropService.wsdl. For presentation web applications were created that enable the regime selection and specification of input parameters for the web service (http://omega.tuke.sk/tp/klienttermprop.php). Some other possibilities of the web service utilization are mentioned.
