Properties of Chemicals and Hazards of the Work with Them

Abstrakt

Importance of the knowledge of properties of hazardous chemicals, their effects on human health and environment, and safety precautions is outlined. According to the legislation of European Union, hazardous chemicals are marked with R and S numbers assigned to the Risk and Safety phrases. The R and S phrases are presented and completed with the description of methods for their application in practice.
