Abstract

Capillary electrophoresis (CE) is well suitable for determination of saccharides in a variety of pharmaceutical, biomedical and food samples. It is able to distinguish subtle differences between carbohydrate molecules which are difficult to detect and/or resolve. Other advantages of CE are its simplicity and effectivity. The review deals with the principles and practical aplications of determination of mono-, oligo- and polysaccharides.
