Abstract

The size distributions of particles in aqueous dispersions of TiO2 and Fe2O3 determined by dynamic light scattering were compared with the size distributions obtained by electron microscopy and gravitation sedimentation. Very good accordance of these methods has been found for TiO2 whereas Fe2O3 showed significant deviations in the similar sets of values, probably due to a strong tendency to particle agglomeration.
