Vitrification of Fly-Ash from Combustion of Municipal Waste in a Plasma Reactor

The article deals with the disposal of fly-ash generated combustion of municipal waste. The study analyzes the vitrification of fly-ash in a plasma reactor at ca. 1400 °C to obtain a glassy slag.
